Moler Capital Management (MCM) was started in 1995. Randall Moler, founder of MCM, has been serving financial advisory clients since 1986. Prior to that, he practiced tax law for six years, both in private practice in California and with the Treasury Department in Washington, D.C., in the areas of estate and gift taxes, municipal bonds, and corporate tax issues. He earned law degrees from Pepperdine University (J.D.) and Boston University (LL.M in taxation), and a B.A. in economics from UCLA.
Matthew McKinney began working with MCM in 2006. He has a technology background and prior to working in the Financial Services industry, worked as an IT professional. Matthew graduated with honors from Biola University with a degree in Organizational Leadership and is an Investment Adviser Representative (Series 65).
Nancy Moler has worked at MCM since 1995. She serves as Office Manager and Client Services Liaison. Prior to joining MCM, Nancy was a CPA and worked for the national accounting firm Ernst & Whinney.
MCM works with a diverse range of clients including business owners, professionals and retirees. A common element among them is an interest in some purpose or cause beyond their personal success. These individuals turn to MCM for financial guidance so they can create a plan with the objective of helping them achieve the freedom they need to realize their personal and broader goals.
MCM helps clients assess their wealth in light of what is truly important to them. When values and goals are clearly defined, an investment and wealth management plan takes on greater meaning and personal relevance. The assessment process provides a clear path for investment and wealth management.
